Automatic sheet unwinder, automatic paper roll unwinder CHM-SGT1400, a 2-rotary blade type, belongs to CHM’s high-end machine line, capable of operating at high speeds while maintaining stability. Additionally, the CHM-SGT-1400 employs a special paper cutting method, where the cutting unit consists of 2 upper and lower blades rotating simultaneously to cut the paper roll into sheets of the required size. The machine is primarily used for cutting thick paper rolls in paper production workshops or businesses in the printing and packaging industry.

Automatic Tension Control
The CHM automatic sheet unwinder uses a multi-point tension control system. When the ultrasonic sensor detects the paper, it automatically sends feedback to the PLC, which then adjusts the brake load through a proportional valve to increase or decrease tension, achieving automatic paper tension control and allowing fine-tuning on the touch screen.
Equipped with Paper Flip and Pull Motor
When the CHM-SGT1400 unwinder is near the end of the paper roll, the paper close to the core may warp. However, the machine is equipped with a core flipping mechanism to maintain balance, minimizing paper warping.
Automatic Paper Edge Alignment System
Controlled by a servo system, with sensor tracking, using an operation screen with Vietnamese-Chinese-English languages, LCD touch screen, including:
- Sensor: uses temperature-compensated type, output sensor, enhances response time, response time 0.2m
- Controller: uses DSP signal processor, Vietnamese-Chinese-English touch screen, touch buttons, control accuracy ±0.1mm.
- Driver: uses closed-loop servo motor with built-in encoder, roller shaft, with reset function, limit protection…; based on paper position, automatically adjusts the paper stack position, ensuring neat and tidy paper stacking.
Paper Splitting (Sheet Dividing) and Edge Trimming Mechanism
- Longitudinal cutting blade controlled by pneumatic double guide rail cylinder, equipped with additional pneumatic control for upper and lower blades, ensuring smooth blade movement and easy operation.
- Upper blade: adjustable up and down, cutting position adjustable by pneumatic control.
- Lower blade: fixed base position, cutting position adjustable manually.
- Standard stable operation: divides paper into 2 sheets, minimum size per sheet W450xL500mm.
- Equipped with edge trimming blades, minimum edge width 3mm, maximum 10mm (usually 5mm).
CHM-SGT1400 Paper Cutting Unit
- As one of CHM’s high-end sheet unwinder and paper roll unwinder products, most of the machine’s materials are imported, meeting international standards. The blades are imported as a complete set from Taiwan using British technology, with strict angle measurement, significantly reducing load and noise during paper cutting, improving product quality, and extending blade life.
- The blade body is made of high-grade steel, finely processed and dynamically balanced after welding, significantly reducing vibration and noise during high-speed operation, and making blade adjustment easier.
- Two synchronized rotary shear blades, with a precision CNC-machined locking base, ensuring stability.
- Equipped with a safety blade cover, automatically shutting down when the safety cover is opened, enhancing production safety.
Equipped with Paper Counting and Marking Ram Insertion
The CHM-SGT1400 2-rotary blade machine is designed to count the number of sheets before inserting marking rams with high accuracy.

- Set the number of sheets to insert marking rams on the operation screen, then the machine automatically inserts the marking rams according to the set number.
- Has a function to compensate for NG sheets.
– Convenient for counting finished paper products.
Electrical Control System
- Simple and easy-to-operate electrical control system.
- Cutting length, cutting quantity, and total finished quantity can be directly input on the touch screen.
- Actual cutting length and cutting quantity are displayed and updated in real-time during machine operation.
